UNANG LABAS
Ang Philippine Teacher, isang cultural magazine na inilimbag ng pamahalaan na tumatalakay ng mga artikulo tungkol sa mga gurong Filipino, ay unang lumabas sa sirkulasyon noong December 15, 1904. Noong 1906, pinalitan ang pangalan nito na Philippine Education, at noong 1929 ay naging Philippine Magazine.

          Noong Disyembre 15, 1660, pinasimulan ni Andres Malong ng Binalatongan (ngayon ay San Carlos City), Pangasinan, ang paghihimagsik laban sa pamahalaang koloniyal ng mga Kastila.

          Ang Masbate ay idineklarang isa ng lalawigan noong Disyembre 15, 1920, sa pamamagitan ng Republic Act 2934.

          Nilagdaan noong Disyembre 15, 1955 sa Washington ang Laurel-Langley Agreement nina Jose P. Laurel (pinuno ng mga kinatawan sa panig ng Pilipinas) at James M. Langlley (bilang kinatawan ng pamahalaang Amerikano).

1875 – Emilio Jacinto, revolutionary known as the “Brain of the Katipunan” and editor of the Kalayaan, the Katipunan’s official newspaper – in Trozo, Manila (d. April 16, 1899).


1917 – Rosa del Rosario (Stagner), actress and “Manila’s Golden Age Movie Queen,” in Manila (d. February 4, 2006).

          Actress, singer, model and wildlife activist Hayden Panettiere became known for her role as Claire Bennet, the cheerleader with superpower, in the NBC hit series Heroes (2006-2010), for which she won several awards including the 2008 Teen Choice Award – Choice TV Actress: Action Adventure.
          Among Panettiere’s advocacy is to stop the hunting of dolphins and whales. On January 8, 2008, she handed letters of protest to the Norwegian and Japanese ambassadors in the United States calling for Norway and Japan to stop its whale hunting.
