Ang “Mga Ligaw Na Bulaklak” ni Carlos Gonda
tampok sa taklob-pahina ng Pilipino Komiks
(Agosto 24, 1957).
          Ang “Mga Ligaw na Bulaklak” (1956-1957) ay nobelang-komiks na isinulat ni Carlos Gonda at iginuhit ni Petronillo Z. Marcelo para sa Pilipino Komiks. Isinapelikula ito ng Sampaguita Pictures sa ilalim ng direksiyon ni Tony Cayado bago pa man matapos ang nobela sa komiks, at unang lumabas sa sinehan noong Agosto 2, 1957. Itinampok ang mga bituing sina Susan Roces, Romeo Vasquez, Daisy Romualdez, Tony Marzan, Eddie Garcia, Bella Flores, Martin Marfil, Nelly Baylon at Bert Olivar. Introducing si Marlene Dauden sa pelikulang ito na ang screenplay ay isinulat ng noon ay nagsisimula pa lamang na makilala na si Emmanuel Borlaza.

          The science fiction television series Star Trek, which began on September 8, 1966, was the product of the creative mind of the pilot-turned-writer Gene Roddenberry (1921-1991). Though the series lasted only two years and seven months (79 episodes), it became so popular that it was followed by several films and in the next decades by succeeding TV series. Among them, Star Trek: Voyager, which premiered on January 16, 1995, and starred Kate Mulgrew as Captain Kathryn Janeway, the first woman commanding officer of a starship, the Voyager. The series lasted seven seasons up to May 23, 2001.
