Anne Frank (1929-1945) is considered
as the most talk-about diarist of the 20th century. She is also known as among the Jews
massacred by the Nazi Germans during the infamous Holocaust of World War II.
The contents of her diary were made known after her father, Otto Frank (18889-1980), discovered it in their home in Amsterdam. It was published as a book in Dutch language with the title Het Achterhuis in 1947, and was translated into English in 1952 as Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. In 1959, It was made into a film, The Diary of Anne Frank. Millie Perkins was the one who portrayed Anne Frank in her debut role as an actress.
