Setyembre 12 sa Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas

          Noong Setyembre 12, 1896, matapos paghuhulihin, ikulong at pahirapan, labing-tatlong Filipino ang ipinapatay ng pamahalaang koloniyal ng mga Kastila malapit sa timugang muog ng Fort San Felipe sa Cavite. Ang kanilang mga bangkay ay isinakay sa isang kariton at inihagis sa isang libingan malapit sa bayan ng Caridad. Sila ang kinikilala sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas na Labing-tatlong Martir ng Cavite.

          Isang araw matapos ang kaniyang ika-64 na kaarawan, noong Setyembre 12, 1981, sa pamamagitan ng Letter of Instruction No. 1161, naglaan si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos ng isang bilyong piso bilang pondo ng Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran (KKK). Malaki ang naitulong ng programang ito upang mapababa ang halaga ng mga bilihin at maibsan ang malaking gastusin ng mga mamamayan lalo na ang mga mahihirap.

          American actress Heather Locklear is known for the roles she played in several television series: as Sammy Jo Carrington in Dynasty, Officer Stacy Sheridan in T.J. Hooker, Paige Connally in The Fall Guy, Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place, at Caitlin Moore in Spin City.
          In 2004, she played the lead role as Harley Random in another TV series, LAX, which is about the circumstances and events in the Los Angeles International Airport. She was also the executive producer of the NBC series. Due to bad reviews and low ratings, the series lasted only 13 episodes.
