1899 – The Malolos Constitution was promulgated by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo.
1901 – The public school system was established with the approval of Philippine Commission Act No. 74, providing for free primary education, a normal school for the training of teachers, and the establishment of English as a medium of instruction.
1932 – The Davao Prison and Penal Farm, the first penal colony in the Philippines, was established.
1962 – Pres. Diosdado Macapagal signed the Central Bank decree abolishing exchange control and returning the country to free enterprise. This act was viewed by financial experts as one single biggest reason for the ballooning of the country’s foreign debt.

The scripts of the American science-fiction
film Terminator (1984) was written by James Cameron and William Wisher
Jr from the character conceptualized by Gale Anne Hurd. The film starred Arnold
Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. It topped the American box
office for two months, and elevated the film careers of Schwarzenegger and
Cameron.
The Terminator: The Sarah Connor
Chronicles, on the other hand, is
its counterpart television series aired by Fox Network on January 13, 2008. It
was the highest-rated scripted series for the 2007-2008 television season. It
starred Lena Headey (as Sarah Connor), Thomas Dekker (as John Connor), and
Summer Glau (as the “Lady” Terminator).
