The English magazine Short List (For Men) first came into circulation on September 20, 2007. As a whole, the magazine catered to intellectual men. It contains article on current news, and views and opinions in various fields such as business, sports, travel, etc. James Bond actor Daniel Craig is on the first cover of Short List with the accompanying cover story “Find Your Inner Bond.”

          Russian tennister Anna Kournikova was born of athletic parents. Her dad, Sergei Kournikova is a Greco-Roman wrestling champion, while her mom, Alla, is a 400-meter runner.
          As of 2012, the highest world ranking that Kournikova attained is eighth in 2000. She was, however, together with Martina Hingis, were ranked World Doubles number one in 1999 and 2002. They were called “The Spice Girls of Tennis.”
          Do you know that in the card game Texas Hold ‘em Poker there is a card combination called Anna Kournikova?” This is a combination of an Ace and a King of different suit. The term was coined by poker commentator Vince van Patten who even quipped “It looks good but never wins.”
          In 2002, Kournikova was chosen by FHM as World’s Sexiest Woman.”
