Napagwagian ni Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao ang bakanteng WBC Light Middleweight Boxing nang bugbugin niya ng husto ang higit na mabigat na si Antonio Margarito at manalo sa pamamagitan ng “unanimous decsion” noong Nobyembre 13, 2010, sa Cowboys Stadium, sa Arlington, Texas. In 1942, then 17-year-old actress,
dancer and vaudevillian Joan Leslie (real name Joan Agnes Theresa Sadie Brodel,
1925-2015) auditioned for a role in the film Holiday Inn, but Warner Brothers decided to cast her in Yankee Doodle Dandy opposite James
Cagney (1899-1986). The film is a musical depicting the life of Broadway
entertainer George M. Cohan (1878-1942). Leslie played the role of Cohan’s
wife, Agnes Mary.
