          Noong Nobyembre 12, 1902, ang American-controlled Philippine Commission ay nagpasa ng Anti-Brigandage Act upang supilin ang anti-American at makabayang damdamin ng mamamayang Filipino.

          Ang Philippine Refugee Processing Center sa Subang, Morong, Bataan, ay itinatatag noong Nobyembre 12, 1979, upang pamahalaan ang pagdating ng mga refugees na nanggagaling sa mga kalapit-bansa na Kampuchea, Laos at Vietnam. Layon nito na magkaroon ng pakikipagsanib-kooperasyon ng pamahalaan sa United Nations High Commission for Refugees.

         Do you know that it took Al Pacino seven nominations before he won his first Academy Award? Though an excellent actor, he only won his first Academy Award in 1992 for his portrayal of blind U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade in the film Scent of a Woman. In that same year, Pacino was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for the film Glengarry Gloss Ross (won by Gene Hackman for the film Unforgiven). Pacino is the first actor nominated in two different acting categories for different films on the same year and winning the Best Actor Award.                            o     O     o
