1920 – Marinduque was declared a province by virtue of National Assembly Act No. 2880.
1938 – The Santol Sanatorium was renamed Quezon Institute (Q.I.) in honor of then Pres. Manuel L. Quezon.
1950 – The first issue of Aksyon Komiks was released.
1964 – A PAL DC-3 on a flight from Malabang to Iligan City, with 29 passengers and four crew members aboard, struck a hill in Piagapo, Lanao de Sur. Only one male passenger survived.

          Ang “Prinsipe Amante” ay orihinal na likha ni Mario del Mar. Una itong narinig sa radyo tuwing hapon sa DZRH mula sa script na isinulat ni Clodualdo del Mundo noong 1949. Nai-serialized ito sa komiks na iginuhit ni Alfredo Alcala at unang lumabas sa unang isyu ng Aksiyon Komiks noong Pebrero 21, 1950. Ginawa rin itong pelikula ng LVN Pictures na nagtampok kay Rogelio dela Rosa bilang Prinsipe Amante. Ang Prinsipe Amante ang kauna-unahang pelikulang Filipino na may kulay.

          Ang salitang “graffiti” (plural, ang singular form nito ay “graffito”) ay halaw sa salitang Italyano na graffio, na ang ibig sabihin ay “guhit (na walang kahulugan o scribble),” na tawag sa mga wall inscription sa mga nalabi nang pagkawasak ng lungsod ng Pompeii. Ang salitang graffiti ay unang ginamit sa panitikan noong 1851, at tumutukoy ito sa mga guhit na ginawa sa pamamagitan ng pagkutkot o pagkayos sa mukha ng pader.

          According to Yul Brynner (1920-1985), his real name is Taidje Khan, and he is a Mongolian born in the island of Sakhalin (Russia). In the biography written by his son Rock Brynner in 1989, however, it was mentioned that Yul Brynner’s real name is Yuliy Borisovich Bryner, born in 15 Aleutskaya Street, Vladivostok (presently Primorsky Krai, Russia). Their bloodline is a mix of Swiss, Russian and Mongolian.
