          Dr. David Ho is a renowned Chinese-American pioneering AIDS researcher. For three decades, Dr. Ho was in the forefront of research on the dreaded Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). His group was among the first in the attempt to formulate an AIDS vaccine.
          Do you know that in the 1970s when Dr. Ho was still an undergraduate at the California Institute of Technology, he frequently played and won at blackjack. He was barely 20 years old when he went to the Las Vegas casinos and sit on the blackjack table. Owing to his mathematical prowess and fast memory, he was able to count and predict the cards. Bagama’t higit na marami sa bilang at may higit na malalakas na armas ang dayuhang mananakop, magiting na tinangka ng mga sundalong Filipino na pigilin ang paglusob ng mga Amerikano. Naging matindi ang labanan sa mga kalsada ng Vigan, mula madaling-araw hanggang katanghaliang-tapat. Nang magipit ay napilitang umatras sina Heneral Tinio.

          The fictional superhero Captain America was conceptualized by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. He first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941), published by Timely Comics.
          It is the first Marvel Comics character to be seen in media outside comics with the release of the 1944 movie serial, Captain America. Both comics and movies were used as propaganda materials during World War II.
          Chris Evans who played Captain America in several films since 2011 earlier played another Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch, in the films Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007).
