The cover story of Spiff’s fifth issue, “Telemarketing Scam: Are Call Centers Being
Used to Harass Consumers?” (pp. 8-9), is about one of those stupid by-products
of the modern age. I have written many cover stories, but this one my Mom and I
had some personal experiences. And these phone harassment people are really irritating and bothersome.
A congruent article, “Stop Credit Hassles and Fraud,” follows on the next page.
“All that wicked people want is to find evil
things to do, but the righteous stand firm.” – Proverbs 12:12, The Good News Bible in Today’s English
Version.
