ON THE COVER: NAKED BUT UNBARED

Back to Basics: Correct Nutrition and Knowing Your Immune System

MOD Vol. 36 No. 1713, August 13, 2004
On the cover: Ruffa Gutierrez

To repeat the first sentence of this article – “We are what we eat” – is the essence of nutrition. “Back to the Basics: Correct Nutrition and Knowing Your Immune System” is a short article about food for health and (disease) preventive nutrition.

“And GOD said, ‘See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.” – The First Book of Moses Called Genesis 1:29, Holy Bible, The New King James Version.

Telemarketing Scam: Are Call Centers Being Used to Harass Consumers?

Spiff Vol. 1 No. 5, July 2008
On the front cover: Charles Romero.
On the back cover: Ruffa Gutierrez for the MET Tathione print ad.

The cover story of Spiff’s fifth issue, “Telemarketing Scam: Are Call Centers Being Used to Harass Consumers?” (pp. 8-9), is about one of those stupid by-products of the modern age. I have written many cover stories, but this one my Mom and I had some personal experiences. And these phone harassment people  are really irritating and bothersome.

A congruent article, “Stop Credit Hassles and Fraud,” follows on the next page.

“All that wicked people want is to find evil things to do, but the righteous stand firm.” – Proverbs 12:12, The Good News Bible in Today’s English Version.
