Originally titled “The Feast of Tuyo and Daing,” the article, as one of the cover stories for MOD April 2012 Lenten issue, was editor
re-titled “Fish Tales” (pp. 56 to 58). It’s all about salted, seasoned and
dried fish – tuyo and daing. The sidebar of the “Fish Tales”
article, again, re-titled from the original “Tuyo and Daing: Not
Really Connected to Lent” to “Fish. It Must be Lent” (p.58).
Also in this issue is “Stairways to Heaven”
(p.74), a brief account of the Batad Rice Terraces.
