Ang unang isyu ng Weekly Ilocano Komiks na lumabas noong Pebrero 19, 1982.
Tampok sa taklob-pahina ang ilustrasyon ni Joey D. Celerio.
Ang Weekly Ilocano Komiks ay unang lumabas sa sirkulasyon noong Pebrero 19, 1982. Ito ay inilimbag ng Atlas Publishing Company Inc. sa dayalektong Ilocano sa ilalim ng pamamanutgot ni Ruben R. Marcelino. Nagtatampok ito ng mga kuwentong wakasan. Kabilang sa mga unang manunulat nito ay sina Gilda Olvidado, Georgina de Guzman, Rey Romasanta, Jun de leon at Helen Meriz. Ilan naman sa mga naging ilustrador ng komiks na ito ay sina Ben Maniclang, Edison Capili at Pablo Agualada.

          The German physicist Albert Einstein (1879-1955) is renowned in science for his “Theory of Relativity.” He was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize for Physics not because of this, but for his discovery of the Law of Photoelectric Effect.
          According to Einstein, a genius of the modern times, the most difficult thing to understand in the world is “income tax.”
