Earth Day (April 22, 2004) in a collage
(cover design by Jennifer Jariego), on
the cover Philippine Panorama Vol. 33,
No. 15, April 18, 2004

in the hit TV series The X-Files, on the cover of
Entertainment Weekly (March 10, 1995).
Picture Trivia
The 1990s popular TV series The X-Files was conceptualized by Chris Carter. The names of the characters was derived from real-life people. The name of the main character Fox Mulder (played by David Duchovny), for instance, came from two person: Fox is the name of his childhood friend and Mulder was the maiden name of Carter’s mother. For the female lead character, Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), the surname Scully was borrowed from Dodger sports announcer Vin Scully, whom Carter always hear as a young boy.           The science consultant of the TV series was Anne Simon, a virologist from the University of Massachusetts. She is the author of the 1999 non-fiction book The Real Science Behind the X-Files: Microbes, Meteorites, and Mutants.
