This article – “I Own Half of Luzon” – is a shorter version of “The Man Who Owns the Philippines” published in Celebrity World (June 2, 1994).

“Remember My laws and rules, and obey them so that you will live safely in the land.  The land will give good crops to you, and you will eat as much as you want and live safely in the land.” – Leviticus 25:18-19, The Everyday Bible, New Century Version.

The Man Who Owns the Philippines

Celebrity World Vol. 3 No. 147, June 2, 1994
On the cover: Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen of India

When I was working as researcher for the Task Force on Land Frauds, I encountered this very interesting case about Roman B. Castillo, the owner of Titulo de Propiedad 4136, the only legally valid Spanish title registered in all past, extant and existing laws of the Philippines. But what is extraordinary about this title is that in encompassed the entire Philippine archipelago and more. Talk about who owns Kalayaan Islands and Sabah. Read the pages, “The Man Who Owns the Philippines” (pp. 8-11), and be amazed yourselves.

“Your land must not be sold on a permanent basis, because you do not own it; it belongs to GOD, and you are like foreigners who are allowed to make use of it.” Leviticus 25:23, The Good News Bible in Today’s English Version.
