Sexy star Via Veloso was first introduced in
Celso Ad Castillo’s remake film Isla
(1996) when she was but 15 years of age. This was after she placed fourth in a “Face
of the Year” contest. She inherited the title role of Maria Isabel Lopez in the
earlier version of Isla (1985).
