Reviews for the TV Series Jurassic Fight Club & the Movie Ploning

TV Star Guide Vol. 8 No. 107, November 2008
On the cover: Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno

Do you like watching prehistoric dinosaur encounters? Well, you should have seen the 12-episode Jurassic Fight Club series in the History Channel. Here’s a brief review.

Also in this TV Star Guide November 2008 issue is a review on the indie film “Ploning, the Philippines’ Entry to the 2009 Oscars.”

“For I took all this to my heart even to search out all this, that the righteous ones and the wise ones and their works are in the hand of the (true) GOD. Mankind are not aware of either the love or the hate that were all prior to them. – Ecclesiastes 9:1, New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.

T-Rex Chips, Anyone?

MOD Vol. 25 No. 1148, September 3, 1993
On the cover: Michelle Catherine Abella Garcia

This “dinosaur” article I have re-written for different magazines at least twice. Here, in this post, are the ones published in MOD and its sister publication, TV Star (Your Cable Guide). Another one, “What if Dinosaurs were Alive Today” (July 28, 2017 post) was published in Savvy (July 28, 1997).

TV Star (Your Cable Guide) Vol. 2 No. 21, September 2001
On the cover: Sesame Street characters (from top left to right): Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Grover, Oscar the Grouch, and Elmo

Published in September 2001 after the film Jurassic Park III, “T-Rex Chips, Anyone?”

“Look at the behemoth, which I made just as I (GOD) made you..... Its tail is like a cedar tree; the muscle of its thighs are woven together. Its bones are like tubes of bronze; its legs are like bars of iron. It is one of the first of GOD’s works..... Can anyone blind its eyes and capture it? Can anyone put hooks in its nose?” – Job 40:15-24, The Everyday Bible, New Century Version.

What If Dinosaurs were Alive Today?

Savvy Vol. 3 No. 10, July 28, 1997
On the cover: Vina Morales

You’ve probably seen Jurassic Park and all its sequels, and a question lingers in your mind: “What If Dinosaurs were (Really) Alive Today?” I think I’ve written at least three articles about this topic. Here’s one version inside the pages of Savvy magazine, July 28, 1997 issue.

“I will remember your great deeds, LORD; I will recall the wonders you did in the past. I will think about all that you have done; I will meditate on all your mighty acts.” – Psalms 77:11-12, The Good News Bible in Today’s English Version.

taklob-pahina ng Time (May 19, 1997).
