         Ang maganda at seksing actress, model, singer, director at businesswoman na si Bianca King ay ipinanganak sa Germany noong Marso 18, 1995. Una  siyang nakita at napansin sa Purefoods TJ Hotdog commercial sa television na humahalik sa isang bata. Noong 2004 naging bahagi siya ng telepantasya na Mulawin bilang si Aviona, at sa 2005 movie version ng Mulawin.

Events that happened on March 18:

1957 – Vice-President Carlos P. Garcia was sworn in as the eighth president of the Philippines succeding Prsident Ramon Magsaysay who died in a plane crash.

1996 – A fire at the Ozone Disco Club in Quezon City, which started shortly after midnight, killed 162 people. It is acknowledged as the worst fire in Philippine history.

1850 – Gabriel Beato Francisco, Tagalog novelist and author of the first published Tagalog novel (Cababalaghan ni P. Bravo, serialized in Ang Kapatid ng Bayan) in 1899 – in Sanpaloc, Manila (d. December 19, 1935) .

1928 – Fidel Valdez Ramos, military officer, Secretary of Defense, politician, and twelfth president of the Philippines (1992-1998) – in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

1945 – Anthony N. Villanueva, Olympic silver medallist in boxing (1964) –  in Manila (d. May 13, 2014).

Picture Trivia

        Between the years 1968 and 1969, John Lennon (1940-1980) thought of leaving the The Beatles. He started focusing plans apart from his band. Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, made three albums on experimentalmusic: “Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins,” “Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions,” at “Wedding Album.” In was also in 1969 that Lennon and Ono formed The Plastic Ono Band.
          Lennon and Ono were married on March 20, 1969, after which they showcased 14 lithographs they called “Bag One” showing what they did during their honeymoon. Eight of the lithographs were considered “obscene” and were confiscated by the authorities and banned from the public. 

          In protest against Western involvement in the Vietnam War, Lennon released the single “Give Peace a Chance,” which was called “Anti-Vietnam War Anthem.” This was followed by “Cold Turkey,” where he revealed his withdrawal symptoms after being addicted to heroin, and “Instant Karma!”

          Lennon left The Beatles on September 1969 without public knowledge. Paul McCartney, however, went ahead of him when he publicized his own intention to leave the band, and released his debut album on April 1970. In reaction, Lennon said: “I started the band. I disbanded it. It’s as simple as that.”
