MOD magazine’s March 17, 2000 “Headliners” featured my article “Close
Encounters of the Massive Kind: Runaway Asteroids – Are We Ready for Them?”
(pp. 10-11). This was also published in the Manila Standard (January 3, 1999).

sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown
to the earth; and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was
