August 1

ALAM MO BA 'TO?
(Do You Know This?)

how pollution is threatening sea life.
Picture Trivia
More than 20 million tons of garbage are being disposed and deposited in different bodies of water throughout the world every year. This single act is killing rivers, lakes and even the world’s seas and oceans. This is the main cause of pollution of the underground aquifers, which are the world’s sources of drinking water. This is also polluting shorewaters, which is the cause of red tide, fish kill, and destruction of coral reefs, and now threatens sea life itself.
