Ang nobelang-komiks na “Botong”
na isinulat ni Mars Ravelo
sa ilalim ng penname na Virgo Villa
at iginuhit ni Abe Ocampo,
tampok sa taklob-pahina ng
Universal Komiks Blg. 80 ( Abril 7, 1967).
          Sa katanyagan ni Mars Ravelo (1916-1988), noong 1950-1970 kinakailangan niyang gumamit ng mga penname upang hindi naman masabi ng mga mambabasa na pulos na lang mga kuwentong-katha niya ang lumalabas sa mga komiks at magasin. Isa sa mga ginamit niya ay ang “Virgo Villa.” Sa penname na ito sinulat niya ang nobelang “Botong” para sa Universal Komiks, isa sa mga pangmasang babasahin na inilunsad ng P.S.G. Publication ni Pablo S. Gomez noong 1960s. Unang lumabas ang “Botong” noong Agosto 13, 1966, at ito ay iginuhit ni Abraham "Abe" Ocampo.

          Canadian fashion model Natasha Henstridge became known as an actress in the film Species (1995), portraying the genetically engineered alien-human hybrid Sil and in its sequel Species II (1998) as the genetic duplicate of Sil named Eve. Henstridge’s portrayal as Cynthia Tudeski opposite Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry in The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and its sequel The Whole Ten Yards (2004) were also memorable.
          In 2000, aside from The Whole Nine Yards, Henstridge also appeared in a number of films: Bounce (as Mimi Prager), Second Skin (Crystal Ball), It Had to Be You (Anna Penn), and A Better Way Out (Kelly). In that same year, she also portrayed Hypsipyle, the Queen of Lemnos, in the television miniseries Jason and the Argonauts.
